On October 24, 2017, the age limit for dependents changed from “under 19” to “under 22.”  A dependent is 21 years or younger – A dependent is NOT 22 years of age; immigration uses the term “UNDER” and its tricky, under means not 22, but any age under 22 years of age, therefore, a dependent is 21, 20, 19, 18, etc…
